As early as the end of the 19th century, master cheesemakers in a charming Eastern Ontario village were already manufacturing a highly renowned Cheddar: the St-Albert.

Five generations of farmers and craftsmen have faithfully lived up to the St-Albert tradition of quality established by its founders in 1894. Thanks to a productive environment, a cooperation ready to be put at the test at any time, and a so far unchallenged know-how, St-Albert has won one’s spurs.

For over 100 years, Worldwide connoisseurs have enjoyed savory products from the St-Albert Cooperative Cheese Manufacturing Association.

Located a few kilometres from the National Capital, St-Albert dairy bar attracts thousands of visitors each year.

Owned by some 50 producers, St-Albert Cheese Manufacturing employs more than 60 people who are guided by a common concern for quality and freshness to ensure our cooperative's success.

The excellence of our Cheddar is also reflected in our incomparable customer service. Every day, St-Albert stands behind each product it delivers.
